App Inventor Regional Appathons

Hosted by official partners and endorsed by App Inventor Foundation

The App Inventor Regional Appathon program aims to bring the appathon experience to a global audience by collaborating with regional organizations to launch official App Inventor competitions across multiple languages and locales. Framed by computational action, Regional Appathons provide opportunities for students across the world to develop AI skills, design thinking, and social-emotional intelligence. Local judges will provide better contexts for understanding the impact of students’ projects in their own communities and cultures. Regional Appathon competitions culminate in a final showcase in their region where students present their apps, network with industry judges, and participate in an awards ceremony. Winning students will be invited to present their projects at the MIT AI Education Summit.
